I can't even really fully explain how colossal this album is because I haven't fully grasped it. Every time I listen through I'm picking something new out of it. Whether it's understanding the rhymes of rhythm in a bouncy pinball chug, wrapping my head around a lead or drum & bass grove, or getting absolutely destroyed by a lyric.
Much like all of Snooze's records - "I Know How You Will Die" is an installment of art. It gives plenty to dig into. It also finds the band in top form, absolutely demolishing it with gut wrenching instrumentals & vocals. The themes are emotional and dark, yet still cathartic and reassuring.
I'm grateful to call these guys friends and lucky enough to have seen them at least a couple times year. They have grown into a complete powerhouse of music. Yayyy Snooze <3
